Annual Run/Walk for Autism Awareness

 

Saturday, September 18th

9:00 a.m. Kid’s Course

9:15 a.m. 5k Run/Walk (Timed)

9:30 a.m. 2.5 Mile Family Stroll

Veteran’s Memorial Park

Boise, ID

 

RACE DESCRIPTION:

5K Run/Walk and Family Stroll routes begin in Veteran’s Park continues onto the greenbelt and finish back in Veteran’s Park. The 5K Run/Walk will be the only timed race. Kids’ course will follow walk path around the amphitheater at Veteran’s Park and will take place before the 5K and Family stroll.

AWARDS, RAFFLE & FINISH LINE CELEBRATION:

Awards will be presented to the overall top finishers in the 5K run/walk timed event.  Prizes will also be given for top fundraisers for the walk-a-thon.  Join the celebration at the finish line and enjoy entertainment and refreshments.  Each packet will contain one ticket to enter into the prize drawings – numbers will be drawn at random for prizes.

RESOURCE TABLES:

Space for resource tables will be available at the event.  If you are an official run sponsor, the fee to put up a table and information about your agency/company will be waived.  If you are not a sponsor there is a $25 participation fee. To reserve a resource table download the registration form and mail to P.O. Box 44831, Boise, Idaho 83711.

 

Please have your table setup by 8:00 am on the morning of the race.  The event should last until noon.
