Medicaid Matters in Idaho website  The purpose of this website is to coordinate statewide advocacy and grassroots lobbying efforts to protect Medicaid services for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.  Check here for the latest information on Medicaid in Idaho.


Idaho Dept of Health & Welfare - Children’s System Redesign:  The goal of the Children’s System Redesign is to implement a system of care that has an improved array of Medicaid benefits for children with developmental disabilities. The new benefits are based on the individual needs of the child and include interventions, supports and collaboration services. These services and supports are designed to help children with developmental disabilities be important, participating members in their families and communities. The Children’s Redesign Rules were approved by the Idaho Legislature in early February 2011. The transition to the new benefits will be a gradual process. Beginning July 1, 2011, children will be phased into the new system according to their birth dates.

New Facebook Group for Local Moms:  “Interested in connecting with other moms who “get it?” BAM! is a support group for local moms of kids on the autism spectrum. Please use this group to post questions, share stories or vent, connect with other ASD families to set up play dates, or schedule some "girl time" with other members. Let us know how we can support you! Join us for some much-needed relaxation, socializing and fun! And maybe an occasional glass of wine….
